Background

Mazen Aziz has joined the Department of Management as a clinical assistant professor. He holds a Ph.D. in education administration with a focus on leadership and human resources, along with a Master of Human Resource Development from Clemson University. 

Mazen brings 15 years of leadership experience in both the private sector and higher education. He has been with the University of South Carolina since 2013, initially serving as a project manager. In 2022, he was appointed managing director of the Master of Human Resources program at the Darla Moore School. In his new faculty role, he will continue to oversee the MHR program while also serving as the academic director of the school’s new undergraduate concentration in leadership.
